Course Overview
The BSc (Hons) Pharmaceutics and Drug Formulation focuses on the design, development, and manufacture of safe and effective pharmaceutical products. Students explore pharmaceutical formulation, drug delivery systems, medicinal chemistry, pharmacokinetics, quality assurance, manufacturing technologies, and regulatory compliance through practical laboratory work and applied research.
The programme develops scientific and technical skills required to optimize medicine formulation and production processes. Students gain experience in analytical testing, product development, and quality management within pharmaceutical environments. Graduates are prepared for careers in pharmaceutical research, formulation development, manufacturing, regulatory affairs, and biotechnology.
Entry Requirements
- Completion of 10 + 2 (Higher Secondary Certificate) with a minimum aggregate of 60% including Chemistry and Mathematics.
- IELTS 6.0 (with no band less than 6.0), TOEFL iBT 80, PTE 50, or Duolingo 105.
- Secondary school chemistry lab work evaluation and drug formulation/bioscience interest review.
- Certified 10 + 2 mark sheets, academic transcripts, statement of purpose, and reference letters.
- Identity proof, secondary school completion certificate, and visa compliance check.
