Course Overview
The BSc (Hons) General Nursing prepares students to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care across a variety of healthcare environments. Students study anatomy, physiology, nursing practice, pharmacology, healthcare ethics, clinical assessment, and patient management through academic learning and extensive clinical placements.
The programme develops professional competence, communication skills, teamwork, and clinical decision-making abilities. Students gain practical experience working with patients and multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Entry Requirements
- Completion of 10 + 2 (Higher Secondary Certificate) with a minimum aggregate of 90% including Chemistry and Biology/Physics plus HPAT-Ireland / MCAT score.
- IELTS 7.5 (with no band lower than 7.0), TOEFL iBT 100, PTE 73, or Duolingo 135.
- Health screening, medical fitness check, Garda/police clearance, and admissions panel interview.
- Certified 10 + 2 mark sheets, official transcripts, HPAT/MCAT results, statement of purpose, and recommendation letters.
- Valid passport copy, visa eligibility verification, and academic credential assessment.
