Course Overview

The BSc Biological and Forensic Sciences at Bangor University combines biological sciences with forensic investigation techniques to examine crime using scientific evidence. Students study genetics, forensic biology, molecular biology, toxicology, microbiology, crime scene investigation, DNA profiling, and forensic laboratory methods.

Practical laboratory work and simulated crime scene exercises strengthen scientific investigation and analytical skills. Graduates are prepared for careers in forensic laboratories, law enforcement support, scientific research, biotechnology, environmental analysis, and criminal justice organisations.
