Course Overview

The LLB (Hons) Law at Coventry University provides a comprehensive legal education covering the fundamental principles of English law and contemporary legal practice. Students study contract law, criminal law, constitutional law, tort law, land law, equity and trusts, legal ethics, and legal research while developing advocacy, negotiation, and critical analysis skills.

Practical learning through mooting, simulated legal practice, and case analysis enhances professional competence. Graduates are prepared for solicitor or barrister training, legal consultancy, corporate legal services, public administration, and postgraduate legal study.
