Course Overview

The LLM Law at Coventry University provides advanced legal education that enables students to specialise in contemporary areas of legal practice and research. The programme strengthens expertise in legal theory, jurisprudence, international law, commercial law, human rights, dispute resolution, and legal research methodologies.

Students undertake independent research and critical legal analysis while exploring emerging legal challenges in domestic and international contexts. Entry Requirements

  • Recognized undergraduate degree in Law (LLB) or an equivalent professional law qualification (minimum 2:2)
  • Minimum Second Class lower degree classification or international equivalent standard
  • Advanced English language proficiency via IELTS Academic 6.5 overall (minimum 5.5 in each component)
  • Submission of academic transcripts, degree certificates, and professional CV
  • Statement of legal intent and academic references
