The BA Sport, Exercise and Physical Activity at Durham University examines the social, cultural, psychological, and policy dimensions of sport and physical activity. Students study sport development, physical activity promotion, sociology of sport, health behaviour, community engagement, leadership, coaching, and sport management.
Practical projects and research develop communication, organisational, and analytical skills while addressing participation and wellbeing across diverse populations. Graduates are prepared for careers in sport development, community health, recreation management, education, public health, and sport policy.
