Course Overview
The LLM International Human Rights Law examines global human rights protection, humanitarian law, refugee law, international criminal justice, and legal responses to global inequality.
Students develop advanced legal research and policy analysis skills while exploring contemporary human rights challenges through specialist modules and independent research. Graduates pursue careers in international organizations, NGOs, government agencies, advocacy groups, and legal practice.
Entry Requirements
- Academic Records: Recognized bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or an equivalent legal qualification.
- English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 (minimum 6.0 in each component), TOEFL iBT 88, PTE Academic 61, or equivalent.
- Academic Background: Prior legal education is required; interest in international law or human rights is preferred.
- Application Materials: Bachelor’s transcripts, CV/resume, personal statement, academic reference(s), and passport copy.
- Additional Requirements: Relevant legal, NGO, or public sector experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
