Course Overview
The BSc Children’s Nursing develops specialist skills to care for infants, children, young people, and families across healthcare settings. Students study child development, paediatric care, health promotion, safeguarding, and clinical practice through theoretical learning and professional placements.
Graduates are prepared for careers in paediatric nursing, children’s hospitals, community healthcare, and specialist child health services.
Entry Requirements
- Academic Records: High school qualification with competitive grades in Biology or another science subject.
- English Proficiency: IELTS 7.0 overall meeting NMC requirements or equivalent.
- Subject Requirements: Biology is preferred; Psychology or Health & Social Care is beneficial.
- Application Materials: Academic transcripts, personal statement, academic reference, passport copy, and UCAS application.
- Additional Requirements: Interview, occupational health assessment, and DBS clearance may be required.
