Course Overview

The Collaborative Honours Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at Ontario Tech University delivers comprehensive clinical education, patient care theory, pharmacology, pathology, and human anatomy. Students practice complex nursing interventions in state-of-the-art clinical simulation laboratories and complete extensive clinical practice rotations across regional healthcare facilities.

The curriculum emphasizes evidence-based clinical reasoning, mental health nursing, acute care, and patient advocacy. Graduates are fully eligible to write the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) to practice as Registered Nurses.

Entry Requirements

  • OSSD with 6 Grade 12 U/M courses (competitive high average)
  • Grade 12 Academic English (ENG4U, minimum 70%)
  • Grade 12 Biology (SBI4U) and Chemistry (SCH4U) (min 70% each)
  • Grade 12 Mathematics (U level, minimum 60%)
  • IELTS 7.0 overall with no band below 6.5 (plus CASPer test)
