About University of Pikeville Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine

The University of Pikeville Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine (KYCOM) was established to address physician shortages in Appalachia and other medically underserved regions. The curriculum integrates biomedical sciences, osteopathic manipulative medicine, clinical skills, and community-based healthcare experiences within a supportive learning environment.

Students complete clinical rotations through an extensive network of affiliated hospitals and clinics while emphasizing primary care, rural medicine, preventive healthcare, and compassionate patient-centered practice. Eligibility Criteria

  • Academics: 10+2 / High School completion with PCB securing minimum 60% aggregate.
  • NEET Qualification: Qualified NEET-UG scorecard mandatory for Indian candidates.
  • Age Limit: Minimum 18 years of age by July 1 of entry year (military officer commissioning requirement).
  • Language & Testing: IELTS ≥ 7.0 / TOEFL iBT ≥ 90.
