About Kursk State Medical University

Kursk State Medical University (KSMU), established in 1935, holds a prominent place in Russian medical education as the very first university in the Russian Federation to offer a complete medical degree program in full English-medium for international students. Situated in the central city of Kursk, the university is recognized for its interactive teaching methodology, extensive library collections, and modern research laboratories.

Clinical education is conducted in partnership with the Kursk Regional Clinical Hospital and affiliated municipal diagnostic and treatment centers across the region. Delivering comprehensive six-year programs in General Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy, KSMU is fully authorized by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and maintains global accreditation with WHO, WDOMS, ECFMG, and NMC (India).
