About Perm State Medical University
Perm State Medical University named after Academician E.A. Vagner (PSMU) was founded in 1916 as the Medical Faculty of Perm State University and has grown into a major hub of medical science in the Ural region. Named in honor of the pioneering surgeon Academician E.A. Vagner, the university is widely respected for its historical scientific schools in thoracic, abdominal, and reconstructive surgery.
PSMU’s clinical training network spans 54 healthcare bases, including regional clinical hospitals, specialized emergency care centers, and an active university dental surgical hospital. PSMU offers complete specialist training in General Medicine, Pediatrics, and Dentistry, operating under the regulatory governance of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation with listings in WHO, WDOMS, ECFMG, and NMC (India).
