About Birat Medical College

Birat Medical College (BMC) is a progressive private medical institution established in 2014 as the medical school wing of Birat Health Campus in Biratnagar, Morang District, Nepal. Affiliated with Kathmandu University, BMC features a modern, purpose-built campus and operates an 800-bed teaching hospital delivering primary to tertiary health services.

BMC offers MBBS, nursing, and postgraduate medical education and is fully accredited by the Nepal Medical Council (NMC), Medical Education Commission (MEC), WHO, WDOMS, ECFMG, and NMC India.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Birat Medical College
  • Affiliation: Kathmandu University (KU)
  • Academic Requirement:10+2 / Higher Secondary with ≥50% aggregate in PCB (or CGPA ≥2.4)
  • Core Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English
  • Age Limit: Minimum 17 years by Dec 31 of admission year
  • Qualifying Exam: MECEE-BL (50th percentile) or qualified NEET-UG score
