About De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute College of Medicine

The De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute (DLSMHSI) College of Medicine, located in Dasmariñas, Cavite, is among the Philippines’ premier private medical institutions. As part of the De La Salle educational network, the college integrates Lasallian values with academic excellence, research, innovation, and compassionate healthcare.

The Doctor of Medicine curriculum follows an outcomes-based educational framework emphasizing clinical reasoning, patient-centered care, evidence-based medicine, and interprofessional collaboration. Students gain extensive hands-on experience at De La Salle University Medical Center, a modern tertiary teaching hospital equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment facilities. The college actively supports biomedical research, international academic partnerships, faculty development, and community health programs addressing regional healthcare needs. Students also benefit from simulation laboratories, digital learning resources, and multidisciplinary healthcare education alongside nursing, allied health, and rehabilitation students. Graduates are well-prepared for licensure examinations, residency training, and healthcare leadership roles both within the Philippines and internationally.
