About Northern State Medical University

Established in 1932 in Arkhangelsk, Northern State Medical University (NSMU) is the northernmost medical school in Russia and a specialized center for Arctic medicine, environmental physiology, and marine health. Clinical instruction takes place across the Arkhangelsk Regional Clinical Hospital and specialized regional research centers, ensuring early exposure to diverse patient cases.
