About Quillen College of Medicine, East Tennessee State University

The James H. Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University is dedicated to improving healthcare in rural and underserved communities throughout Appalachia.

Its integrated curriculum combines foundational sciences with early clinical experiences, longitudinal patient care, and community-based education. Students train through Ballad Health and other regional healthcare partners while gaining expertise in primary care, rural medicine, population health, and interdisciplinary collaboration, preparing them to address the unique healthcare needs of the region.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Academics: 10+2 / High School Diploma (PCB) with minimum 55% aggregate.
  • NEET Qualification: Qualified NEET-UG scorecard mandatory for Indian national students.
  • Age Limit: Minimum 17 years of age by December 31 of enrollment year.
  • Language & Testing: IELTS ≥ 6.5 / TOEFL iBT ≥ 85.
