About Toronto Metropolitan University School of Medicine
Toronto Metropolitan University School of Medicine is Canada’s newest medical school, established to educate physicians who will address healthcare inequities and improve access to care in diverse urban communities. The curriculum emphasizes community-based learning, primary care, health equity, digital health, social accountability, and interprofessional collaboration.
Students receive clinical education through an expanding network of healthcare partners across the Greater Toronto Area while developing the knowledge and skills required to deliver inclusive, patient-centred, and culturally responsive healthcare.

Eligibility Criteria
- • Academics:Completed 4-year Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with competitive academic standing.
- • Standardized Testing:MCAT is NOT required.
- • Language & Testing:CASPer test mandatory.
- • Focus & Pathways:Emphasis on primary care, community health, and equity-deserving groups.
- • Health & Documentation:Health screening and background check.
