The University of Auckland Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences is New Zealand’s largest and highest-ranked medical school, internationally recognized for excellence in medical education, biomedical research, and clinical innovation. The Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) program integrates biomedical sciences with early clinical exposure, simulation-based learning, and research.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Pathway: Pre-Med First Year (BHSc or BSc Biomedical Science → MBChB) OR Graduate Entry.
  • Academics: 10+2 / High School (CBSE/ISC min 85%+ or IB 32+) to enter 1st-year pre-med; MUST achieve min 6.0/9.0 GPA across core 1st-year papers with no grade below B. Grad Entry: Recognized Bachelor’s degree (min GPA 6.0/9.0) completed within 5 years.
  • NEET Qualification: Qualified NEET-UG scorecard required for Indian citizens.
  • Entrance Exam: UCAT ANZ (First Year) / Casper Test + Multi Mini Interview (MMI).
  • Age Limit: Minimum 17 years by course start date.
  • Language: IELTS ≥ 7.5 overall (no band < 7.0) / TOEFL iBT ≥ 100 / PTE ≥ 73.
  • Health & Docs: Police Clearance Certificate, health & immunization screening, valid passport.
