About University of New Mexico School of Medicine

The University of New Mexico School of Medicine is the state’s only academic medical school and serves as a leader in medical education, research, and patient care throughout the Southwest. Students receive clinical education through UNM Health System and affiliated healthcare facilities while caring for culturally and geographically diverse populations.

The curriculum integrates biomedical sciences, clinical medicine, public health, and community engagement with strong emphasis on rural healthcare, Native American health, Hispanic health, and health equity. Eligibility Criteria

  • Academics: 10+2 / High School Diploma with PCB with minimum 60% aggregate.
  • NEET Qualification: Qualified NEET-UG scorecard mandatory for Indian citizens.
  • Age Limit: Minimum 17 years of age by December 31 of entry year.
  • Language & Testing: IELTS ≥ 7.0 / TOEFL iBT ≥ 90.
  • Health & Documentation: Medical fitness clearance report & HIV-negative certificate.
