Course Overview

The Bachelor of Design and Arts (Level 7) at UCOL encourages creative exploration while developing professional design and artistic practice. Students study visual communication, graphic design, illustration, photography, digital media, fine arts, design thinking, and creative problem-solving.

Studio-based learning allows students to build technical skills, experiment with contemporary creative practices, and develop a professional portfolio. Industry projects and exhibitions provide valuable real-world experience. Graduates are prepared for careers in graphic design, visual arts, creative agencies, advertising, publishing, digital media, branding, and independent creative practice.

  • Recognized 10+2 qualification (or equivalent)
  • Official academic transcripts
  • Portfolio may be required for selected majors
  • IELTS 6.0 (minimum 5.5 in each band) or equivalent
  • Meet UCOL undergraduate admission requirements
