The Bachelor of Nursing (Level 7) at NMIT prepares students for professional nursing practice through integrated classroom learning, simulation, and supervised clinical placements. Students study anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, nursing assessment, medical-surgical nursing, mental health, community healthcare, and evidence-based practice.
Extensive clinical experience across hospitals, aged care, and community settings develops safe, culturally responsive, and patient-centred nursing skills. Graduates meet the educational requirements for registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and pursue careers throughout the healthcare sector.
