Course Overview

Durham College’s Honours Bachelor of Artificial Intelligence program delivers deep technical expertise in machine learning, neural networks, computer vision, natural language processing, and deployment architectures. Students build functional AI models using Python, cloud computing, data structures, and reinforcement learning frameworks.

The curriculum covers AI ethics, data privacy, linear algebra, and capstone project development. Through applied laboratory work, students learn to integrate AI systems into enterprise software environments. Graduates are prepared for high-demand technical careers as AI engineers and machine learning developers.

Entry Requirements

  • OSSD or mature student status with 6 Grade 12 U/M courses and minimum 65% average
  • Grade 12 U English (minimum 60%)
  • Grade 12 U Math (Advanced Functions or Calculus & Vectors, minimum 60%)
  • Four additional Grade 12 U or M academic courses
  • Proof of English Language Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 overall (no band below 6.0) or TOEFL iBT 88
