Course Overview
Carleton University’s Combined Honours Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Biotechnology blends biological chemistry with molecular biology techniques to drive innovation in healthcare, agriculture, and industrial processes. Students explore gene expression, protein engineering, recombinant DNA technology, metabolic pathways, and bioprocess engineering.

Entry Requirements
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with a minimum 78-82% overall average
- Grade 12 Academic English (ENG4U)
- Grade 12 Advanced Functions (MHF4U) or Calculus (MCV4U)
- Grade 12 Chemistry (SCH4U) and Grade 12 Biology (SBI4U)
- Proof of English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 overall (no band below 6.0) or TOEFL iBT 86
