Course Overview
The Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and Bachelor of Obstetrics (MB BCh BAO) is a comprehensive medical programme that prepares students to become skilled, ethical, and compassionate medical practitioners. The curriculum integrates biomedical sciences, clinical medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, psychiatry, and primary care through classroom learning, simulation, and extensive clinical placements.

Entry Requirements
- Completion of 10 + 2 with top academic performance (90%+ aggregate) in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics/Mathematics.
- IELTS 7.5 (minimum 7.0 in each band), TOEFL iBT 100+, or PTE 73+.
- HPAT-Ireland exam (or MCAT/GAMSAT for graduate entry), Garda Vetting, and panel interview.
- Certified academic records, HPAT/MCAT official scores, health screening, statement of purpose, and reference letters.
- Applicants must satisfy programme-specific academic eligibility, and for postgraduate programmes hold a recognised Bachelor’s degree (minimum Second Class Honours Grade 1 or equivalent) in a relevant discipline. Some programmes may also require relevant work experience, an interview, or a portfolio where specified.
