Waterloo’s Bachelor of Public Health (BPH) delivers comprehensive education in population health promotion, disease prevention, health policy analysis, and environmental health. Students examine the social, biological, and economic determinants of health through quantitative data analysis and community health projects.
The curriculum prepares students to address health inequities, infectious disease outbreaks, and chronic illness at local and global levels. Optional co-op work terms provide direct public health experience. Graduates work in public health units and government health agencies.
