Course Overview
The BSc Environmental Science explores the interactions between natural systems and human activities while preparing students to address global environmental challenges. Students gain knowledge in ecology, climate science, environmental chemistry, geology, biodiversity, water resources, and sustainability through laboratory work, field studies, and environmental monitoring.
The programme develops practical skills in environmental assessment, data analysis, and scientific reporting using modern analytical techniques. Strong emphasis is placed on conservation, environmental policy, and sustainable resource management. Graduates are prepared for careers in environmental consultancy, government agencies, conservation organizations, research institutions, and sustainability-focused industries.
Entry Requirements
- Completion of 10 + 2 with a minimum aggregate score of 70% to 75% including at least one laboratory science subject.
- IELTS 6.5 (with no band less than 6.0), TOEFL iBT 90, PTE 61, or Duolingo 110.
- Earth science background evaluation and secondary school mathematics proficiency.
- High school transcripts, personal statement highlighting environmental interest, and academic references.
- Fieldwork safety orientation and physical fitness clearance for environmental research trips.
