Course Overview
The BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science provides students with an in-depth understanding of human biology, disease mechanisms, and modern biomedical research. Students study anatomy, physiology, immunology, genetics, microbiology, pathology, molecular biology, and laboratory diagnostics through practical laboratory training and research projects.
The programme develops technical laboratory skills, scientific reasoning, and analytical abilities while examining the biological basis of health and disease. Students gain experience using advanced biomedical technologies and diagnostic techniques. Graduates are prepared for careers in clinical laboratories, biomedical research, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare sciences.
Entry Requirements
- Completion of 10 + 2 (Higher Secondary Certificate) with a minimum aggregate of 80% including Chemistry and Biology/Physics.
- IELTS 6.5 (with no band lower than 6.0), TOEFL iBT 90, PTE 63, or Duolingo 120.
- Health science screening and secondary school prerequisite verification.
- Certified 10 + 2 mark sheets, official transcripts, statement of purpose, and academic recommendation letters.
- Valid passport copy, visa eligibility verification, and academic credential assessment.
