Course Overview
The BSc (Hons) Environmental Science explores the scientific principles underlying environmental systems and sustainable resource management. Students study ecology, environmental chemistry, climate science, biodiversity, conservation, pollution control, environmental monitoring, and geographic information systems through laboratory work and field investigations.
The programme develops scientific, analytical, and research skills needed to address environmental challenges and promote sustainability. Students gain practical experience in environmental assessment and evidence-based decision-making. Graduates are prepared for careers in environmental consultancy, conservation, sustainability management, government agencies, and scientific research.
Entry Requirements
- Completion of 10 + 2 (Higher Secondary Certificate) with a minimum aggregate of 70%–75% including Laboratory Science and Mathematics.
- IELTS 6.5 (with no band lower than 6.0), TOEFL iBT 90, PTE 63, or Duolingo 120.
- Foundational environmental science suitability check and academic record review.
- Certified 10 + 2 mark sheets, official transcripts, statement of purpose, and academic recommendation letters.
- Valid passport copy, visa eligibility verification, and academic credential assessment.
