Course Overview

Georgian College’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) program provides comprehensive clinical instruction, patient care theory, pharmacology, and human anatomy. Students gain hands-on experience in advanced healthcare simulation labs and complete extensive clinical placements across regional hospitals and community health agencies.

The curriculum focuses on evidence-based nursing practice, health equity, acute care, and patient advocacy. Graduates are fully eligible to write the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) to practice as Registered Nurses (RN) in Canada.

Entry Requirements

  • OSSD with 6 Grade 12 U/M courses and a competitive high average
  • Grade 12 Academic English (ENG4U, minimum 65-70%)
  • Grade 12 Biology (SBI4U) and Grade 12 Chemistry (SCH4U) (minimum 65-70% each)
  • Grade 12 Math (U level, minimum 65%)
  • Proof of English Language Proficiency: IELTS 7.0 overall with no band below 6.5
