Course Overview
The BSc Industrial Biochemistry combines biology, chemistry, and biotechnology to prepare students for careers in modern life science industries. Students explore molecular biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetic engineering, fermentation technology, and industrial bioprocessing through laboratory-based learning and research projects.
The programme develops practical skills in scientific experimentation, data interpretation, and biotechnological innovation for healthcare, pharmaceutical, and industrial applications. Strong emphasis is placed on problem-solving, quality assurance, and sustainable biomanufacturing processes. Entry Requirements
- Completion of 10 + 2 with a minimum aggregate of 75% including Chemistry and Biology.
- IELTS 6.5 (with no band less than 6.0), TOEFL iBT 90, PTE 61, or Duolingo 110.
- Biochemistry background evaluation and laboratory safety competency check.
- High school transcripts, personal statement, and two academic recommendation letters.
- Laboratory health and safety orientation and subject-specific prerequisites verification.
