Course Overview

The BSc Learning Disabilities Nursing at Coventry University prepares students to support individuals with learning disabilities in achieving greater independence, wellbeing, and quality of life. Students study person-centred care, communication, health promotion, safeguarding, behavioural support, mental health, ethics, and evidence-based nursing practice.

Clinical placements across healthcare and community settings develop practical skills in multidisciplinary care and advocacy. Graduates are eligible for Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration and careers in specialist learning disability services, community healthcare, education, and social care organisations.
