Course Overview

The BSc Nursing Adult at Birmingham City University prepares students to deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care for adults across acute, community, and long-term healthcare settings. The curriculum includes anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, clinical assessment, patient safety, long-term condition management, leadership, and professional nursing practice.

Extensive NHS clinical placements allow students to apply theoretical knowledge while developing practical skills and compassionate patient care. Graduates are eligible to apply for Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration and pursue careers in hospitals, community nursing, specialist services, and primary care.
