Course Overview

The BSc Pharmacology provides students with a comprehensive understanding of how drugs interact with biological systems to prevent and treat disease. The programme covers pharmacology, physiology, molecular biology, neuroscience, toxicology, and drug development while emphasizing laboratory-based learning and research.

Students develop analytical, experimental, and scientific problem-solving skills that prepare them for careers in pharmaceutical research, biotechnology, clinical trials, regulatory affairs, and postgraduate study.

Entry Requirements

  • Academic Records: High school qualification with strong grades in Biology and Chemistry.
  • English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 (minimum 6.0 in each component), TOEFL iBT 88, PTE Academic 61, or equivalent.
  • Subject Requirements: Chemistry is mandatory; Biology and Mathematics are recommended.
  • Application Materials: Academic transcripts, personal statement, academic reference, passport copy, and UCAS application.
  • Additional Requirements: Interest in pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences is expected.
