Course Overview
The BSc Physiotherapy at Coventry University develops the knowledge and practical skills required to assess, treat, and rehabilitate individuals with movement disorders, injuries, and physical impairments. Students study anatomy, biomechanics, exercise therapy, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, cardiorespiratory physiotherapy, clinical assessment, and evidence-based practice.
Extensive clinical placements provide experience across hospitals and community healthcare settings while strengthening clinical reasoning and professional communication. Graduates are eligible to apply for Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration and pursue careers in hospitals, rehabilitation, sports medicine, and private practice.
Entry Requirements
- Successful completion of 10+2 secondary school certificate (CBSE/ISC with 75%+ average, or state boards with 82%+)
- Mandatory core science prerequisites in Biology and Chemistry (or Physics/Mathematics)
