Course Overview
The Master of Public and International Law explores the legal principles governing relationships between governments, international organisations, and individuals within domestic and global legal systems. Students study constitutional law, administrative law, international human rights, humanitarian law, international trade, environmental law, and global governance.
The program develops advanced legal research, policy analysis, and advocacy skills through interdisciplinary learning and practical case studies. Students gain insight into contemporary legal challenges affecting international cooperation, diplomacy, and public administration. Graduates are well prepared for careers in government, international organisations, diplomatic services, public policy, academia, and international legal practice.
Entry Requirements
- Academic Records: Recognized law degree or relevant humanities/social science degree with a 65%+ WAM.
- English Proficiency: IELTS 7.0 overall (minimum 7.0 in writing, 6.0 in other sub-scores), PTE 65.
- Prerequisites / Knowledge: Grounding in public international law, human rights, or constitutional law.
