Course Overview
The Master of Science (FinTech) explores how emerging technologies are transforming financial services and global banking systems. Students study blockchain technology, digital payments, artificial intelligence in finance, financial data analytics, cybersecurity, regulatory technology, and financial innovation.
The programme combines technical knowledge with financial expertise through practical projects and industry-relevant applications. Students develop the skills needed to design innovative financial solutions while understanding regulatory and ethical considerations. Graduates pursue careers in digital banking, financial technology companies, investment firms, financial consulting, and technology-driven financial services.
Entry Requirements
- Certified copy of a recognized bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or Mathematics (minimum 55% or 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale).
- IELTS 6.5 (minimum 6.0 in each band), TOEFL iBT 88, PTE 61, or Duolingo 110.
- Quantitative evaluation in programming and financial modeling concepts.
- Updated CV/resume, official transcripts, statement of purpose, and two letters of recommendation.
- Applicants must satisfy programme-specific academic eligibility, and for postgraduate programmes hold a recognised Bachelor’s degree (minimum Second Class Honours Grade 1 or equivalent) in a relevant discipline. Some programmes may also require relevant work experience, an interview, or a portfolio where specified.
