Course Overview
Located in Pokhara, Manipal College of Medical Sciences is a premier medical institution affiliated with Kathmandu University. The 5.5-year MBBS curriculum combines structured basic medical science education—anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology, and pharmacology—with modern audiovisual simulation learning.
Clinical clerkships are conducted across two major sites, led by the Manipal Teaching Hospital (a 750-bed multi-specialty tertiary center in Phulbari), giving students extensive ward exposure in general surgery, internal medicine, pediatrics, OB/GYN, and emergency care. The program culminates in a compulsory 12-month rotating internship, providing foreign and domestic students with strong preparation for global licensing board exams.
