Course Overview
The 6-year English-taught MD (Medicine) Programme at Poznan University of Medical Sciences (PUMS) provides comprehensive medical education based on European Union standards. The curriculum integrates basic medical sciences, pre-clinical education, simulation-based learning, clinical rotations in university teaching hospitals, research opportunities, and practical patient care.
Graduates are awarded the Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and are eligible to pursue postgraduate training and medical licensure in Poland and internationally, subject to national licensing requirements.
Entry Requirements
- Academics: 10+2 / Higher Secondary Certificate with Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) securing minimum 60% aggregate.
- NEET Qualification: Qualified NEET-UG scorecard mandatory for Indian applicants as per National Medical Commission (NMC) regulations.
- Age Limit: Minimum 17 years by 31 December of the admission year.
- Language & Testing: English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 6.5 / TOEFL iBT 87 or successful English interview/entrance assessment conducted by the university.
- Health & Documentation: Medical fitness certificate, valid passport, educational certificates and transcripts, passport-size photographs, proof of English proficiency (if applicable), and other admission documents required by the university.
