Course Overview
The MSc Agricultural Biotechnology provides advanced knowledge of biotechnology applications in modern agriculture, food production, and environmental sustainability. Students explore molecular biology, plant biotechnology, genetic engineering, microbiology, bioinformatics, and sustainable agricultural practices through laboratory research and applied scientific projects.
The programme develops expertise in improving crop productivity, food security, and environmental resilience using innovative biotechnological solutions. Entry Requirements
- Certified copy of a recognized Level 8 bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science, Biotechnology, Biology, or related Life Sciences (minimum 55% or 2.2 Honours / 3.0 GPA).
- IELTS 6.5 (with no band less than 6.0), TOEFL iBT 88, PTE 58, or Duolingo 115.
- Technical evaluation of undergraduate laboratory training in molecular biology, genetics, or plant science.
- Comprehensive CV/resume, official university marksheets, statement of purpose, and two academic/professional LORs.
- Technical module review or online academic interview with the faculty panel.
