Course Overview
The MSc Plant Biology & Biotechnology provides advanced knowledge of plant sciences and the application of biotechnology to improve agriculture, sustainability, and biological research. Students study plant molecular biology, genetics, plant physiology, biotechnology techniques, crop improvement, and research methodologies through laboratory-based learning.
The programme develops expertise in understanding plant systems and applying biotechnology solutions to environmental and agricultural challenges. Students gain practical experience using modern biological techniques and research approaches. Graduates are prepared for careers in agricultural biotechnology, plant research, environmental science, food industries, biotechnology companies, and scientific research.
Entry Requirements
- Certified copy of a recognized bachelor’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, Nanoscience, or Biology (minimum 60% or 3.0 GPA).
- IELTS 6.5 (with no band lower than 6.0), TOEFL iBT 90, PTE 63, or Duolingo 120.
- Nanoscience prerequisite evaluation and physics/chemistry background check.
- Official university degree transcripts, updated CV/resume, two letters of recommendation, and statement of purpose.
- Valid passport copy, visa eligibility verification, and academic credential assessment.
