Course Overview

The MSc Social Science (Community and Youth Work) focuses on empowering communities and supporting young people through social development and inclusive practice. Students study youth development, community engagement, social policy, leadership, equality, participation, and research methods through applied learning.

The programme develops communication, facilitation, and project management skills required for community-based interventions. Students gain experience designing and evaluating programmes that promote social inclusion and youth wellbeing. Graduates are prepared for careers in youth services, community development, non-profit organizations, education, social policy, and public sector roles.
