Course Overview
The MSc Toxicology provides advanced study of the effects of chemicals, medicines, and environmental agents on biological systems. Students study molecular toxicology, pharmacology, risk assessment, environmental toxicology, safety evaluation, laboratory methods, and research techniques through advanced scientific training.
The programme develops expertise in identifying, analysing, and managing chemical risks affecting human health and the environment. Students gain practical experience using toxicological methods and interpreting scientific evidence. Graduates are prepared for careers in pharmaceutical research, environmental health, regulatory science, chemical industries, safety assessment, and toxicology research.
Entry Requirements
- Certified copy of a recognized bachelor’s degree in Pharmacology, Chemistry, Toxicology, or Life Sciences (minimum 60% or 3.0 GPA).
- IELTS 6.5 (with no band lower than 6.0), TOEFL iBT 90, PTE 63, or Duolingo 120.
- Regulatory sciences suitability check and toxicological prerequisite verification.
- Official university degree transcripts, updated CV/resume, two letters of recommendation, and statement of purpose.
- Valid passport copy, visa eligibility verification, and academic credential assessment.
