Course Overview

Ontario Tech University’s Honours Bachelor of Health Science in Human Health Sciences explores human biology, pathophysiology, epidemiology, diagnostic technologies, and healthcare delivery systems. Students examine the biomedical and social determinants of health through laboratory experiments and health data analysis.

The curriculum provides foundational preparation for professional healthcare programs, medical studies, or health research. Students build strong analytical and scientific inquiry competencies. Graduates pursue careers in health informatics, biomedical research, and healthcare administration.

Entry Requirements

  • OSSD with 6 Grade 12 U/M courses
  • Grade 12 Academic English (ENG4U, minimum 65%)
  • Grade 12 Biology (SBI4U) (minimum 65%)
  • Two additional Grade 12 U/M science or math courses
  • IELTS 6.5 overall (no band below 6.0) or TOEFL iBT 83
