Course Overview
The Master of Design (Level 9) at UCOL enables students to advance their creative practice through specialised design research, innovation, and professional project development. The programme supports exploration in areas such as visual communication, digital design, user experience, product design, and interdisciplinary creative practice.
Students undertake independent research and industry-focused design projects that strengthen critical thinking, creative leadership, and advanced design capabilities. Graduates are equipped for senior design positions, creative consultancy, innovation management, academic research, and leadership roles within design and creative industries.
Entry Requirements
- Recognized bachelor’s degree in Design or related discipline
- Portfolio demonstrating design capability
- Official university transcripts
- IELTS 6.5 (minimum 6.0 in each band) or equivalent
- Meet postgraduate programme requirements
