Course Overview
The MSc Advanced Engineering Materials focuses on the design, characterization, and application of innovative materials used in modern engineering industries. Students explore materials science, polymers, composites, nanomaterials, metallurgy, and advanced manufacturing processes while conducting laboratory-based research.
The programme develops expertise in material performance, sustainability, and product innovation through industry-relevant projects. Entry Requirements
- Certified copy of a recognized bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering (minimum 55% or 3.0 GPA).
- IELTS 6.5 (with no band less than 6.0), TOEFL iBT 90, PTE 61, or Duolingo 110.
- Engineering background evaluation and materials science course review.
- CV/resume, official university transcripts, statement of purpose, and two letters of recommendation.
- Technical competence verification in laboratory testing and materials characterization.
