Course Overview
The BA Criminal Justice provides a comprehensive understanding of crime, policing, criminal law, corrections, and justice systems from legal, social, and policy perspectives. Students explore criminology, forensic studies, human rights, victimology, criminal investigation, and public policy while developing strong research, analytical, and communication skills.
The programme encourages critical evaluation of crime prevention strategies and the effectiveness of criminal justice institutions in contemporary society. Entry Requirements
- Completion of 10 + 2 with a minimum aggregate score of 70% to 75% in recognized secondary board examinations.
- IELTS 6.5 (with no band less than 6.0), TOEFL iBT 90, PTE 61, or Duolingo 110.
- Critical thinking assessment and social science background evaluation.
- High school transcripts, personal statement, character references, and academic recommendations.
- Garda Vetting (police clearance) or criminal history check for legal study placement.
