Course Overview
The LLM (International Human Rights Law and Public Policy) provides advanced understanding of global human rights frameworks and the development of effective public policy responses. Students study international human rights law, humanitarian law, refugee protection, equality law, governance, and human rights advocacy through research and comparative legal analysis.
The programme develops expertise in evaluating legal systems and policy approaches to protect fundamental rights. Students strengthen research, advocacy, and critical thinking skills while examining contemporary global challenges. Graduates are prepared for careers in international organizations, human rights agencies, legal practice, public policy, and research.
Entry Requirements
- Certified copy of a recognized Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or relevant Social Sciences degree (minimum 60% or 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale).
- IELTS 6.5 (with no band lower than 6.0), TOEFL iBT 90, PTE 63, or Duolingo 120.
- Human rights background review and public policy suitability evaluation.
- Official university degree transcripts, updated CV/resume, two letters of recommendation, and statement of purpose.
- Valid passport copy, visa eligibility verification, and academic credential assessment.
