Course Overview
The Master of Laws (Law and Digital Innovation) examines the legal implications of emerging technologies and the rapidly evolving digital economy. Students study artificial intelligence regulation, cybersecurity law, data protection, intellectual property, digital governance, and technology policy while analysing complex legal challenges created by digital transformation.
The programme combines legal theory with practical insights into innovation, regulatory compliance, and responsible technology development. Students develop advanced legal research and policy analysis skills applicable to modern technology-driven industries. Graduates are well prepared for careers in technology law, corporate legal advisory, regulatory bodies, digital policy, and international legal practice.
Entry Requirements
- Certified copy of a recognized bachelor’s degree in Law, Computer Science, or Technology Policy (minimum 55% or 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale).
- IELTS 6.5 (minimum 6.0 in each band), TOEFL iBT 88, PTE 61, or Duolingo 110.
- Interdisciplinary background evaluation in tech policy or intellectual property law.
- CV/resume, degree transcripts, statement of purpose, and two academic/professional references.
- Applicants must satisfy programme-specific academic eligibility, and for postgraduate programmes hold a recognised Bachelor’s degree (minimum Second Class Honours Grade 1 or equivalent) in a relevant discipline. Some programmes may also require relevant work experience, an interview, or a portfolio where specified.
